Plant nutrition (fertilisers) 

 • Analysis of samples of soil, growing media, plant tissues, irrigation water , fertilisers and nutrient solutions arranged using UK laboratories
• Interpretation of results
• Advice on nutrient requirements for crops and investigation of crop problems
• Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) written for fertilisers

Growing Media (composts) 

• Analysis of samples and interpretation of results
• Formulation of mixes to optimize physical properties
• Advice on formulating mixes based on peat and alternative ingredients
• Adjusting the mixes for pH and nutrient levels including adding controlled release fertilisers, pesticides and other additives if required

Trials and development

• Many years experience of carrying out and supervising trials of fertilisers for agriculture, horticulture and amenity use and testing growing media for horticulture to ensure you have the right product for the job
• Agree protocols with client, setting up and running trials with established organizations in the UK so that your work is carried out to a high standard 
• Interpretation of reports so that you are clear as to what the work has demonstrated
• Marketing advice for new products
• Demonstration set up for clients
