Michael Daly M.Sc has worked in the agricultural and horticultural industry since 1976 having qualified with a degree in Soil Science and an M.Sc. in Agriculture

Posts have included running a soil testing laboratory, field trials officer, Senior Agronomist responsible for fertiliser advice on a wide range of crops. Latterly worked as Technical Manager for a large growing media manufacturer formulating growing media mixes
Founded The Agrology House in 2008 to assist manufacturers with developing new products, particularly recycled products, and give advice to growers of a wide range of crops
Works with other consultants on projects including work for WRAP on the use of compost in horticulture
Has achieved Exemption from Waste from the Environment Agency for Struvite, a slow release phosphate fertiliser produced at Waste Water Treatment Plants and has trialled Struvite for a Canadian company on a range of crops in the UK
Expert witness work on disputes with crops and growing media, working both with growers and suppliers/manufacturers
